Ilya is classically trained as a pianist/conductor, and was well known back in Russia as an active performing singer song writer, producer and even an a movie actor.
Now, how come not so many people in the biz know about Studio 001? Well, because 001 was an undercover recording studio.) No, really, Studio 001, so to say, didn't need to be officially recognized". it was perfectly O.K. to stay in the shade of the well known Phantom Audio production company owned by Judy Mauer. Yes Judy. Who doesn't know Judy Mauer?!
She is simply brilliant. Phantom, technically speaking, always been working in the "studios" of Studio 001.
