Choose to swim or even kayak amongst the penguins at the famous penguin colony of Boulders beach or take a magnificent scenic drive to Cape Point, Scarborough, Champans Peak or the Wine Lands .
You can enjoy whale watching from the large covered balcony or from any of the rooms and even from the kitchen while making your tea! Peak whale watching season is mid-August to mid-October and boat based whale and dolphin watching trips operate regularly from Simon's Town harbour.
There are many fantastic swimming beaches within easy reach and nearby Fish Hoek boasts the safest bathing in Cape Town.
