We offer two beautiful and spacious stone built farmhouses set in a working olive grove. The houses are located on the Monte Pisani, a protected range of hills offering spectacular views over Pisa and the Leaning Tower and the Mediteranean Sea beyond.
More Info: 'La Lucertola' is in a superb position: about a 20 minute drive from both Pisa and Lucca, 30 minutes from the coast, about an hour from Florence and lesser known gems making exploration fun and worth while. The combination of hills, sea and proximity to places of cultural interest make this a holiday location to suit and inspire all moods and fancies.
'Pisa/Florence' airport is only 40 minutes away and with daily low cost flights from over 8 UK destinations, journey times and logistics can be kept to a minimum.
'La Lucertola' is reached by its own private road above the sleepy hamlet of Pugnano. There are excellent local facilities in the nearby village of Molina di Quosa, including bar, chemist, post office and an excellent delicatessen and Rosticceria' called "Ciappino" that attracts clientele from far and wide.
Just a little further down the road towards Pisa is the pretty and lively spa town of San Giuliano Terme. Once home to Percy and Mary Shelley, here you can enjoy a full range of first rate spa facilities and beauty treatments including steam bath, hydromassage and facials, as well as good restaurants, cafés and bars.
Above La Lucertola you can walk well-maintained and extensive forest trails. The views are simply breathtaking and the flora and fauna are glorious.
