Our AVS Barcode Source software can generate high-quality barcode images in graphics-format files for use in other applications such as DTP software. Various barcode specifications are supported, along with a number of graphics file formats.
More Info: Alver Valley Software's "AVS Barcode Source" software can generate images in a number of 1-dimensional barcode formats, with the major 2-dimensional formats currently in development.
After the user has entered the barcode data, and chosen a barcode type as well as various parameters such as size and colour, the software automatically adds a checksum (if appropriate to the barcode specification), and then draws the barcode as an image.
The software can then save the barcode image as a graphics file in various formats including BMP, TIFF, PNG, JOG, WMF, EMF, etc. From there it can be used in other application such as desktop publishing (DTP), labelling, etc.
Also, can be copied directly to the Windows clipboard for use in other applications. A preview of the barcode, including its exact size, is visible at all times. The DPI (dots per inch) of the resulting image can be chosen to match the resolution of the destination printer. The software is very easy to use, and fast to operate.
